I'm a software and product engineer. I care about the whole arc of a product — from the first sketch to the details that only show up in daily use.

My approach owes a lot to the functionalist tradition: less, but better. Good software should be honest, unobtrusive and thorough down to the last detail.

What I do

I work across the stack — designing interfaces, shaping data models and shipping the systems behind them. Recently that has meant web apps, internal tools and content-driven platforms.
